ITRC will be closed for PWBA Summer Classic Series, purchase daily tickets for $5

The ITRC will be closed for training and lessons from July 31 – Aug. 11 to welcome the top bowlers on the PWBA Tour for the PWBA Summer Classic Series. The ITRC will resume normal business hours Thursday, Aug. 12 at 10 a.m.

The ITRC will be open to spectators who wish to watch the Summer Classic Series for a daily admission of $5 at the door. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame.

ITRC closed to public July 10

The ITRC will be closed to the public Saturday, July 10 due to an all-day clinic taking place at the facility. The ITRC will resume normal business hours Wednesday, July 14.

The Bowling Combine – 2021 Athlete Assessment Program

The Bowling Combine – 2021 Athlete Assessment Program took place at the International Training and Research Center in Arlington, Texas, from June 2-Aug. 28, 2021. Limited Availability to ITRC from April 23-29

The ITRC will not have open play or themed practices from April 23-29 due to commitments during the USBC Convention.

The ITRC will be closed to the public from April 26-29 due to commitments during the USBC Convention.

Availability to the pro shop will return to normal business hours starting April 30. Lane availability will be very limited on April 30.

ITRC closed for SWAC Championship

The ITRC will be closed to the public from March 18-20 to host the 2021 SWAC Championship. The ITRC will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, March 24.

Youth Presidents Day Special

CANCEL DUE TO POWER OUTAGES

Give us some presidential trivia and bowl for $10 per hour at the ITRC on Presidents Day!

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, youth bowlers can receive this special rate by providing obscure but TRUE trivia on a particular president. The youth athlete will be provided with the actual president after the registration is received by the ITRC staff.

If the youth bowler does not provide trivia, the price will be $20 per hour. Adults will be allowed to bowl, if space allows, for $20 per hour.

Team Play Strategy Clinic

Do you want to learn some of the secrets to team success in bowling? Check out our Team Play Strategy Clinic to find out some of the methods used by the most successful teams in the sport!

From strategy, lane pattern knowledge, equipment preparation and team culture, learn why working as a team will maximize your efforts and create a better scoring environment – whether you’re bowling league, a city or state tournament or even the USBC Open or Women’s Championships! This clinic is a must for teams looking to take their game to the next level!

Clinics will be held on Feb. 26 and March 6, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the ITRC. The cost will be $50 per person, with a maximum class size of 25 people. The clinic will consist of on-lane tactical training and a classroom discussion.

We encourage you to bring your own teams (four or five people). Groups of three of less will be mixed together to form bigger groups.

Register your team now and pay for the clinic on the day of the event. The “team captain” will register the team and designate the number of players and averages. Fill out the form below to reserve your spot:

Spring Break Days

Party on the lanes at the ITRC during your Spring Break! On March 15-17, 2021, the ITRC staff will be offering a variety of exercises to challenge bowlers and teach them about their games.

March 15 and 16 will included exercises based on the information provided by Specto, a high-tech tracking system by Kegel. The ITRC staff will choose several of the exercises for the athlete to complete, with the results being discussed and advice given to improve.

March 17 will welcome back the ITRC Spare Shot Challenge – with a couple new combinations and few of the old favorites.

Reservations are not necessary, but occupancy levels will be monitored. During the week, each challenge or exercise round will be $10.

ITRC closed to host PWBA event

The ITRC will be closed to the public from Jan. 15-27 to host the PWBA Kickoff Classic Series. The facility will resume normal operating hours Thursday, Jan. 28 at 10 a.m.
