Entries

• Roll call will be at 8:30am. Competition for score begins at 9:00am.

Format

• The qualifier will feature two 5-game blocks for a total of 10 games. Total scratch pinfall for the 10 games will determine finish position and qualification for the 2018 U.S. Open.
• Two separate sport classified lane patterns will be used, left lane will have a short pattern and the right lane will have a long pattern.
• 10 minutes of warm-up begins at 8:50am.
• A two hour break will occur after the first 5-game block is completed. Lanes will NOT be re-oiled between blocks. 10 minutes of warmup immediately proor to the second 5-game block.
• Maximum field is 40 participants.
• Entry fee is $80 – prize fund $50 – lineage $30.
• Winner receives a paid entry into the 2018 U.S. Open to be held in Wichita, Kansas on October 24-31 2018 PLUS $500. Second place receives $500. Remainder of prize fund payout 1:5.
• If tie for top spot – one game roll off to determine the champion.

Equipment

• Maximum of nine (9) balls per player. Name and last four of serial number for all balls must be entered on recap sheet prior to competition. Random ball checks will be conducted at discretion of tournament management.
